The question many people ask about whether sweating helps you lose weight is not so much a question as it is a statement. Sweating does help you lose weight, but the question is whether or not your body uses the extra water and energy put into the activity to burn off fat. Water weight is not only excess weight; it can also be associated with many other health issues. Therefore, if you are currently struggling with a weight problem, there is no reason to think that sweating will do the trick.

Normal exercise is great for keeping your heart rate up, and most people find moderate exercise to be a comfortable level. Of course, if you feel that you need to increase your heart rate or you feel that you need more vigorous exercise to get your heart rate up, talk to your doctor to see what is best for you.

Because of this, your sweat is less likely to evaporate off of your skin. Sweat tends to evaporate off of the skin faster than sweat produced by other parts of your body. In this way, your body can cool itself more quickly without getting as hot.

The water and toxins are then taken out of the system quicker so that they don't add up to weigh you down. You will also notice that you feel more refreshed after exercising when you are not stinking as bad.
